**** just hit the fan. Media blackout. No warning, all the sudden a zombie attack hits at work. All you have is your handgun and you i pod. Now! the life or death question: What do you have on your SHTF/Zomie slaying playlist?

Clearly this is a matter of life and dead. What hard head banging songs do would get you in the mood and the adrenaline pumping hard while you fight your way home!

Of course, the tactical advantage was to be silent while sneaking home as to not draw zombie attention. Though, for my question humor me that is a bang bang shoot the zombie up movie

P.s. it may be acceptable to BLOW the zombies up providing you turn the ipod volume up :D

A few of mine would be
    Drowning pool - bodies
    Three days grace - riot
    disterbed - Indestructable
    10,000 fists
    sticken
    forsaken
    down with the sickness
    enemy
    avenged sevenfold - after life
    ramstein - amerika
    ramstein - bang bang
    ramstein - Du Hast
ABOUT TO BEGIN Lyrics - ROBIN TROWER

I must be missing the point of this post. In a SHTF situation, the least of my worries is what I have on my playlist.
Shouldn't you be using your ears to listen to your surroundings?
I'm sure you will be plenty amped up in this scenario to need music to help "get you in the mood".

I would need something to concentrate better with than heavy metal until it came down to close and personal with the chain saw. Then Jackal's the lumber jack song.

YouTube - Jackyl - The Lumberjack (STUDIO VERSION)

got to love any song with a chain saw solo.

When I was picking them off from the roof long distance with a stiff drink and a cigar how about a little Miles Davis. How about a little so what with johnny Coltrain:

YouTube - So What - Jonh Coltrane and Miles Davis

And I think when things were starting to get a little more intense. I would have to put on the WHO. won't get fooled again, behind blue eyes or my favorite semi punk who song Slip Kid.

YouTube - Slip Kid - The Who
