What rod, where from?

The cleaning rod for my .308 that you'd sent me a link to from MidwayUSA.

I'd contact midway for a replacement. I also bet Bore Tech would replace/fix it.

Should probably make a claim to Midway first.

I had a burr in an aluminum rod guide scrape the coating on a Bore Tech rod and even though it was my fault, they had me cut the rod a few inches away from the handle (the length would make it expensive to ship) and send it to them. they put a new rod on it and sent it back quickly.

If I put it up for sale to the general public, I’d ask $850. For a Czickoo, $700.

It’s a Ruger Gunsite Scout in .308 with the green laminate stock. I think the green was a limited run for a distributor.

Two clients down, two to go. Not too bad considering I get to work in sweatpants. I'm definitely ready for some range time though, even if it's only 50 rounds or so. I might try to make it down to HHRP sometime soon depending on the weather.
