This pretty lady made a rare daylight appearance outside of her log today. I usually only see her at night when I use a red light. The Indian Ornamental - Poecilotheria regalis.

13 years ago today, on the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the universe decided it was the best day to kill my cat. The first animal to whom I ever became attached. Just to make sure I'd really never forget the day. At least she passed away peacefully in her sleep. Miss you Bubba

Working with my new post retirement full time job Shiloh on sit/stay and jumping up in the back of my truck. She loves to go along but doesn’t show much interest in getting in. Front paws on seat and I hoist her up. Tried running at it and just no interest in jumping. I’m kinda stumped at the moment. Has not had a bad experience like falling out. Gets out by herself but very cautiously, not just a jump out.

Will sit just long enough to get a picture, but can’t trust her off leash outside the wire as she’s a runner then it’s a game of see if you can catch me, and we live on a fairly busy road. We have 3+ acres fenced in so that is nice. Lots of coyotes out here.

I have 5 of the black dog cutouts in front on the fence and thought this was kind of a fun picture. The dogs don’t seem to think they look real, not bothered by them. Older dog Noki had seen it all and not too excited by anything.
