Was as sent to state on 2/25 Not putting the local down because of an error. Approve on 4/1

Application completed 1/15/2016, prints and local completed 1/26/16, ISp showed pending 1/28/16 Approved today 4/10/16. long wait but I did have a OWI from 1999.

I applied, got finger printed, and went to local PD to turn in money etc... all on 4/13. Right now mine is pending. They told me at the local place it would be 3-6 weeks. I am hoping closer to the 3.

Your looking at a lot longer than 3 weeks more like 2 to 3 months I have a clean record no arrests. It took 56 days to recieve mine plus the 7 day wait for mailing.

I let my old one lapse so had to re-apply. Everything went much smoother than it did 10 years ago. I got mine about two weeks after the final step. This time it came on the same material as a driver's license instead of the old paper version.

IMPD sent my app up to state on the 19th. Still waiting. I sent in an old psych record with my app and when I emailed the firearms unit to check up I got a nebulous proclamation that amounted to "It's going to take longer because someone has to actually read this thing you sent." Pretty lame.

Still waiting for my license from the address change. I'm guessing I missed a step somewhere actually requesting a new license along with the name change, so I requested another today.

4/28 received in the mail

Had a reckless driving conviction in 1987 (not a plead down from dui/owi) , also had a misdemeanor arrest in 1989 that the charges were dropped. I disclosed both to be on the safe side.
