Why not get the original lamenated and carry it? Once you have the license you can do all changes on line. If you loose it you can order a new one online also. All is easy to do.

Does it take as long to get a replacement? Wife and I are thinking of getting the replacements so we have the plastic ones.

I want to say when I ordered my replacement card, it only took a couple of weeks.

Personal choice. I got my pink paper replaced when they came out with the new, plastic licenses and am happy I did.

My Status changed to Pending ISP Approval on 2/29/2016. I am still waiting. I'm hoping it changes soon. Although I did have to send in some court document because of doing something stupid when I was young, which caused me to have to have my firearm rights restored.
I had to email in the granted restoration.

Anyone else in the same situation? If so how long did it take for your app to process?

    Update

completed online app with state and paid state fees 2/11
    paid local fees 2/11
    paid and fingerprinted 2/16
Local was Beech Grove and they held me up due to the fact that they don't know the difference between a mailing address and a physical address (but we got it worked out)
Pending ISP on 2/24 and still just a waiting. Not really worried but I do have a traffic violation on my record and that's it...
