it was expunged after 24 hours of community service. I haven't been arrested since, never heard anything on background checks I've had done

Arrests typically don't show up on background checks, only convictions. Unless your arrest record was erased, I'm afraid it might ding you.

Be interesting to see how this plays out. We haven't had too many people with records that were expunged.

Does the wait for a new LTCH for a address change have a different wait time than a standard application?

I was a senior in high school the judge saw I graduated in a few months, finished community service went back to court she told me stay out of trouble and that my record would be clean. I'm praying this doesn't slow up my wait time

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Received it today, issued the 11th. Submitted all electronically and local done on 8/02/13.

Back story. Originally applied last august 9/15/12. Received a denial in March 2013 for drinking charges. So after over a year rushing to the mailbox it's all over!!

Yes it is. Kinda weird is I feel real comfortable carrying. Thought I would be weirded out at first, that isn't the case. Feels good I can now legally protect my family.

Just got off the phone with my state representatives aid. She said they have a liaison at ISP and she's going to figure out what's going on with my app and call me back later today.
