Can the fee at IMPD be paid with cash? Or money order/check only? Ive already paid via L1 state online and will be printed tomorrow, then off to the county building downtown.

I went the expedited way, L1 or what have you. Got everything take care of about a week and a half ago. I have a squeaky clean criminal background (never even so much as a speeding ticket!), I was told it could be as quick as a week. Doesn't seem so at the moment. Hope it comes soon, I'm itchin'!

Finalized the application at the sheriffs department 5/13. Received LTCH 5/26. Used L1 for prints...definitely the way to go if you want it quickly.

If this is the case, then I stand corrected. I was informed by the office that no cash. On local or state and I am in Marion Co. Oh, well.

But doing it the old fashioned way I am at 7 weeks.

Renewed from 4yr to Lifetime LTCH via L1 completed 5/20....Recieved 6/1 .........Now that was quick! Im a happy camper!

Took receipt to Miami county and paid local fees on monday, may 23
received LTCH on that saturday, may 28
Less than 5 days.

No doubt, my son due to school, work and the HS Golf team requirements he wasnt able to use the L-1 and we did the fingerprint card route. Application made, paid and mailed on Apr 1 and LTCH received on May 31.

But not bad for an 18 y/o, out of HS on the 26 and a LTCH (lifetime) on the 31st !!!

I refuse to pay extra for something the .gov is supposed to do.

This was a renewal of a 4 year license, switching to a lifetime.

When I applied for my liftetime back in February I got it in 3 business days.

If I lived in IN and had a LTCH and it has now expired but live in AZ now...can I submit for renewal??

I went the L-1 route and it took 10 days from the time I got printed, one of the guys I work with is on 8 weeks and counting going the traditional route. I know L-1 is a racket but it is worth every penny

The Online form has a place for your Email address. Has anyone received an email saying that your LTCH was printed, approved, or sent?

No I had no idea of the status of my permit until it showed up
