Way quicker than expected!

Applied online March 9th, L1 on the 19th, local PD on the 22nd (just before closing I might add), license in the mail today, March 29!
The gal at the PD said it was taking several weeks!

10 days for me too. 18th to 28th with L1 digital printing and online application via Allen County Sheriff's department.

I started on the 14th but the L1 system went down so I finished my finger prints last Thursday and mailed off the packet. I hope to receive it soon. need the permit for work.

Boyfriend and I applied Jan 31st. Online app, ink printing. Both still waiting.

Did mine one the 23rd and got it today. Took exactly 7 days. Did the app online and finger printing with L1. Not a long wait at all.

Got mine today after waiting 5 1/2 weeks WITH L1! If you have ever been arrested for something expect to wait longer than the advertised 3-7 days. My charge from a couple years ago was dismissed but it must be the reason for my delay. Thankfully I never have to apply again!!!

Not bad at all...

I went the online route. Filled out the online application 3/20/11, L1 fingerprints and paid fee at South Bend PD 3/20/11, received LTCH 3/29/11.

That'll do.

Walked my wife through the process:

13 April: Online application, with L-1 option
17 April: She went to L-1 appointment; systems are down
22 April: Back to L-1 for inkless prints
24 April: Dropped L-1 receipt and local fee to Fishers PD
31 April: Received her LTCH in the mail​

18 days total elapsed. 9 days from L-1 scans to receipt of LTCH.

Finally got that glorious pink paper in the mail. did it the old fashioned way, took the money orders and got inked on 1/24 at the city county building and received it today 4/1.

Had to go the L1 route, turned my papers in to the pd on 3-25 and received my permit on 3-31

Apply online. Indiana Handgun Permit. Saves time, $10 bucks more than conventional. Electronic finger printing, schedule an appointment. A email will be in your inbox before you get home ,from ISP thanking you for filing online, and for your fingerprints. Wait time for permit may be 9 days, or less. This is my experience only.

Congrats!... hopefully mine is only a week or so out then, I filed the same way.. but on feb 9

don't give up hope haha! I felt good about the mail today, checked and it was there! I'm just glad that wait is over. I really hope yours comes soon! Give it a week or two.

Internet application on 3-24-11 made appointment with l1 20 minutes later went to police station after that paid and signed whole process took maybe an hour. Received license on 4-1-11 a whole 8 days.

Online App, ink fingerprinting, Jan 31st. Issued March 30th, received April 1st. L1 is definitely the way to go.

Mine took about 2 weeks total time if you pay extra to get fingerprinted at a Kinko's or something like that.
