Spoke to a close LEO friend the other day. He said the wait is now 7-8 MONTHS! Said he applied for his renewal in Dec. & got it in June.
I applied for renewal in mid-May. From what hes saying... I may not see it 'til January!

As long as your friend applied for renewal within 30 days of expiration, it is still legal.

lmfao.....well guess I had missed that typo......hmmm oh well....I do fine with sarcasm...lol....us military guys have heard far worse...but I did find it surprising that I received my LTCH so quickly. My local leo office I think knew something I didn't. The Detective helping me with the paperwork saw my military id in my wallet and said that I should send in a copy with my papers. He said I would be happy that I did.....guess he was right!
