Didn't see Dan at the entrance table collecting $. New people, and stamping Indiana or Illinois on your hand. Trying to sort out in state or out of state business?
Some couple decent gun prices, but it was very crowded. Haven't been to this show in a couple years. During the Obama Scare, saw $100 22lr paks from WallyMart that should have been like $30-50(plenty of profit margin for crying out loud). Sad. Guns were higher also. Like Gouging to the max. Quit going for that reason.
The young lady working the front door has been working for Danny for several years. The hand stamping which was "Indiana" or "out of state" was done to help the vendors / dealers determine who was from Indiana and who wasn't. Of course the final ID verification was to be done by the dealer / vendor and any sale was done accordingly. Also, one of the reasons you saw different people at the door is that the Lake County Fair Board REQUIRES Lake County police at the door and working overnight security. BTW sold 3000 rounds of 22 LR for 10 cents/round.

Felt like it was the knife & gun show. The jerky section seems to be expanding too. I did pick up an LPK. Saw some nice uppers that were tempting. Almost every pistol I looked at was over priced (above msrp) as usual.
