I use a Contender in .223 with a synthetic carbine stock and a 16.25” barrel. It’s topped with a 4x12 Burris scope. The scope is almost as long as the barrel and makes the gun look kind of funny but it sure does a nice job on all kinds of varmints.

When I could still hunt I used my Ruger #1 in .204 Ruger. Love that gun but can't go anymore. May have to sell her off. Samson
