I was in the Bloomington Lowes a few days after Jan 1, 2000, at the CS counter. The guy in line in front of me was returning a brand new generator “he got for Christmas”.

I saw quite a few stores that had signs that they would not accept returns of toilet paper, hand sanitizer etc.

I've seen more than a few signs indicating "No Returns - due to Covid-19"
or some specifically calling out items from the current painc

I knew they had been using refrigerated trucks as morgues in NYC,but was not aware how many. 11 at just Belview hospital.

They are returning it because most people in the USA that shop at walmart live paycheck by paycheck.

Rent is NOW past due and these people last month used their rent money to buy TP instead.
