i may not always like LEO but i damn sure appreciate the work they do and what they put up with daily. i could not imagine a job where i had to deal with the most worthless, dangerous and violent people in america!

Funny and all... But that is how you apprehend a suspect? No warnings or command to stop, just getting tackled and 12 knees in your back/head? Yes, I don't know the situation. They could have been positive it was him. Maybe that changes my view, maybe not. Use of force should always be last resort. The guy was on a bike in a neighborhood full of cops (while being videotaped) dont think he would have gotten far.

How do you think that neighborhood became "full of cops"? They weren't all there by random chance, and they all seemed pretty focused on the guy riding the bike as fast as he could go.

You can bet they knew EXACTLY who they were after.
