    I wondered when someone was going to use 1976, the year IU never lost a game. No other college has done that, therefore I was glad to see Ohio S. get beat by Wisc! Kept that record intact.
    Good luck with your educated guess. I would have chimed in before you but I couldn't attend if I won.

    Not to diminish what the '76 team accomplished, but there were (I think) six teams before them to go undefeated. UCLA in 1964, 1967, 1972 and 1973. UNC in 1957. San Francisco also went undefeated in 1956, which I'm sure having Bill Russell helped them quite a bit.
