If such a thing became law (it won't) and someone was so serious about carrying that they considered several guns to keep it legal- I'm wondering why you just wouldn't just move. I wonder that a lot when people complain about the characteristics of where they live.

Moving isn't cheap.

No kidding. Neither is 5 (or more) guns. Neither is your life. Neither is sitting around stewing about all the reasons you don't like where you are living. Life is short. If you want to improve your quality of life, you find a way to do it.

The reality is this- cost/benefit analysis. If you have decided that the benefits of moving are outweighed by the costs....or the costs of staying are outweighed by the benefits. Go with the decision, own it and stop complaining.

No problem...I got a solution for ya. Just need to add some picatinny rails and you are good to go.

That and most who live near family, don't wish to desert them.

Beyond that - buy 20 1-round "magazines" rather than 20 guns. Lighter on the belt and the wallet. Think of how good you'll get at tactical reloading.
