a Liberal education does not mean and education on modern washinington liberal, or left liberal ideology

Liberal education - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

most colleges do push a leftist agenda either through policy aimed at diversity awareness, and egalitarian ideals, or teachers that feel they have been treated unfairly and deserve more money, I even know one that strongly feels that we should have a 100
    % inheritance tax.

If you are put off by this issue already, I suggest you steer your son to get involved with Young Americans for Liberty Sam Spasier is the pres of IU's chapter. He pushed to bring Ron Pual and tom Woods to IU, along with many other activities.

Social Justice is just another way of telling Traditionalist how evil they are, because that's all Social Justice groups attack.

Date Rape has nothing to do with Social Justice. Kill the rapist upon absolute conviction then we'll see Social justice.

Saying I.U. is liberal is an understatement, but there are student organizations that are not. The Young Americans for Liberty group is very active and well organized, they have hosted Tom Woods and Ron Paul to speak at I.U. this fall. The city and county government is almost all Democrat/Progressives who believe that they should rule the rest of us slobs. But Bloomington does have some of the best restaurants in the state, IMHO.

    Where's the bacon?
Isn't it amazing how the highest concentrations of liberal people and liberal thought are found in places where they cannot be held to account for their use of public money or the fruit of their labor?

You're right, but it's more than that. They're also found in places they can have the most influence on the younger generation, shaping minds that have been prepared by 12 years of (in most cases) government "schooling".

The only defense against that is to educate them yourself and ensure that they know the difference between right and wrong.

In that sentence, you may take "right", in whichever context you wish.

    Blessings,
    Bill

And this is why we got an Obama elected. It is disgraceful that we have allowed the progressives to take over the Education industry of this country from top to bottom. Even now with all the Tea Party outrage over spending and the size of government, you still hear nothing about the fact that our children are being indoctrinated to Marxism.
