    Well I was bored, this is KIND OF what mine will look like. YHM lightweight rails, non-SS barrel and some of the fat Magpul rail covers instead of the Larue stuff :)

    Thanks for the compliments on my build. It came out just as planned.

    Regarding the finish, the upper is a bit glossier than the M&P15 lower, but I think the comment on oil is correct. Once I wiped it all down, the colors are a lot closer, and where some oil has soaked into the lower from oiling the guts, its a pretty close match.

    If any of you guys are on the fence about getting one, and you have the means, go for it. You won't regret it!
