    Richardson sat all last season. He needs reps

    Richardson might lose us more games but it’s valuable information. If he’s not the guy, don’t you want to know sooner rather than later?

    I agree with you on both these statements.

    But kinda playing devil's advocate, how long do you stick with him if he continues to get hurt? Injuries happen and is obviously part of the game, I get that. Hopefully he will get healthy and he will get the reps he needs so they can see if he's the guy or a bust. On paper he should come into his own and be fun to watch. Unfortunately so far because of injuries he looks like a flash in the pan. I just hope they don't wait too long if he keeps getting hurt and missing games. They will never be a Super Bowl contender without a consistent QB on the field. That's a tough balancing act for the decision makers. If he ends up a bust, fans will say they waited too long but if he leaves and goes somewhere else and shines then fans will say they pulled the trigger too fast
