****NO LONGER FOR SALE****This 1911 is an original arsenal rebuild from WW1. I got this from a friend who told me it was a bring back from the war, who ever had it messed up the lower and it wasn't any good. I ordered a new Rock Island frame and a stainless steel Ed Brown rebuild kit with 3 hole ss trigger and ss open hammer that is included but not installed, new Coco bolo grips, ss mag release, trigger job, parkerized finish, everything in the frame is new and was done by a professional gunsmith. The Colt slide was made pre.1913, with clear markings and in good condition for being 100 yrs old...The barrel has around 500 rounds fired Very tight and shoots great...I have the original Springfield Armory frame and ss hammer, original bakelight grips and a few misc parts that will come with it, If I could get $1200 I would sell...I would sell the orig slide and frame separate if anyone is interested in that. price is neg, no low balls please, only serious interests!
