    It all boils down to what you are confident and comfortable with. If you think you can pull the slide back in time when your getting robbed? Do what you have to do. If I were you I would do more research and find the kind of gun that has the features that appeal to your type of living conditions. Keep in mind. The safety of the children around are the most important as they are our future! Keep guns locked up when not carried. Keep them out of reach and behind a lock or two locks or three locks.
