so I was the CMP store @ Camp Perry this weekend, they were so busy I did not a chance to ask a lot of questions, but the racks were full of M1's , cheapest shootable M1 was "rack grade" @ $935 , most pricey was $3035 for "presentation grade"

these were some barreled receivers, Win 52, 1917 Eddystone , barrels for misc guns

anybody else there this weekend? hope you were able to cool and dry

What they have left are M1D's ad M1C snipers ,drill rifles and a few select grade WRA's

Those barreled recievers were pretty sad.
I looked over the Mossberg 44 ones and one looked like it was ready for the scrap bin.
Someone had taken a plasma welder or cutter and ran it across the receiver all the way up thru the barrel leaving a large gorge.
I don't know why it was sitting there.
Most of those recievers were pitted very badly or in very sad shape.
Was hoping I could find one to save and make a shooter.
    It was a hopeless cause.
