A good brushing and IF you played in more than just dust, then maybe a damp cloth. I use either a can of air. (pc duster,) or a air gun of a compressor to blow away the dirt and build up.

    It's an M&P.
I used some dish soap and water with a soft brush on the removable palm pads and that worked really nice.

I'll do the same with the rest of the frame and grip exterior but make sure I don't get the internals wet.

I just love the simplicity to the design of it ..
C'mon tool-less Field strip and back together in One Minute .. that is nice !

I've read it and not thought too much of it .. but I bet the folks who say they put the whole thing in the dishwasher were serious.

Wouldn't be the 1st gun I took in the shower with me.

What type of cleaner and method is safe to use on the Polymer (Plastic) ?

Just want to keep the grip clean on an M&P.

A remington silicone cloth will get the dirt off just fine and not damage the plastic. I would avoid soap and water due to the metal parts inside most plastic frames.

Soft toothbrush, mild dish soap water .. sparingly. Keep the water out of the internals .. Air Dry or Compressed Air any excess moisture and viola !

    Comes out really nice.

Just my take on the cleaning with dish soap, dish soap is designed to disolve oils, polymer is made from a petroleum product (oil). I don't wash my car with dish soap for the same reason, automotive paint is oil based.
