I miss the days when no matter what year, Cadillacs always had class to stick out from the crowd. No one ever mistook a Caddy for a Bel Air or a Fairlane. We have a newer Cadillac in the family that blends in with Nissan and Hyundi cars from a distance. Only the spare parts prices remind you that it is a Cadillac.
A good friend of mine had one. 454, 4-speed, non SS. He said they were rare. He finally sold it a Mecum a number of years ago.My dream car. A 1972 Monte Carlo SS
Although I don't mind the black, I want it candy apple red or cherry with flake. I'm willing to sell my soul for this
I remember when those paint jobs were the thing.
I built this 1987 S10 in 1994 for the Street Machine Nationals in Duquoin, IL. It has a small journal 327 and a big shot Nitrois System. I did a frame off and did all the bodywork, paint, motor and interior in my garage. It has sat under a cover since 2002 and just got it going again last year for my 19 year old son to drive/race and enjoy.
