LGS has the Pistolero in 357 magnum and 45colt in stock. Are these revolvers any good?
I like the looks of them are they made well?

They look like they would be a lot of fun to shoot.
What are your experiences with Cimarron centerfire firearms?
If anyone has these models how do you like them?

They are decent pistols and more affordable than a Ruger. For normal use they seem fine. For cowboy action they do well for a while but your probably going to break one. Just like Henry rifles. Good guns for normal use.

What revolver are most cowboy action shooters using in 45colt?

Cimmaron revolvers are generally made by Uberti. They are higher finish quality than other Uberti made guns. This one seems to be a ‘budget line’ with the brass grip frame, but it still looks to have nice color case hardening. Most of the lower cost SAA clones have a matte blue finish. Cimarron guns are great quality. They will last a lifetime of normal use And occa competition. Of course if you’re going to go full bore, you’ll want it slicked up and worked over, but in stock form it will do a fine job. I’ve owned dozens of uberti made guns, from pretty much all of the importers over the years and they are good guns. They used to have some issues with softer steels but that seems to be a thing of the past.

I have one. They come out of the same factory as the rest of the Italian SAAs. It's a solid gun and a faithful reproduction. Nice trigger. Hard to be accurate with, ergos just aren't great. Not a bad way into a fun SAA.

They are made by Uberti who makes Taylor's, Navy Arms and etc. Used in one form or another in SASS. They all need lighter springs and hammer and sear stoned. Timing on most is ok. You can only shot Colt loads in them unlike old Rugers that will take Rino stopping loads. A heavy Marlin rifle load can damage them like it can hurt Colts.

Other than springs they work very well and last as good as Colts do in Single Action Shooting Society shooting. You might check the hammer and see what safety they are using on that model and make sure you can live with it.
