I agree, if you are on welfare you should only be able to buy what you need to live.

We should also end these tax deductions, just because you decided to have kids, why do they have to take my money to offset that deduction. You own a house, they give you a deduction in taxes, so if I rent a house, they take more money from me to offset it.


I don't have any kids, so why do my property taxes go up to help fund schools. You decided to have them, so you should be responsible for paying for their education, not me.

If you can't afford to pay for your house or kids without all these deductions, why did you have them. Stop stealing from me to pay for your decisions

I realize I'm new around here, but I'm both amused and saddened by how many posters here come off as stereotypical hillbillies, blaming everything on gotdayum libruls.

Both sides suck. Anyone who thinks either Republicans or Democrats give a rat **** about any of us needs to pass around whatever the hell it is you're smoking.

It is more the liberal side of things that give us income-based welfare, however. Two sides of the same beast, but they do come at it from different angles.
