I bought a used upper with the Ciener conversion already in it, it runs great and acurate enough for what i want it for. i just noticed that every once in a while(every 100 rounds or so) it will fire 2 rounds with one pull of the trigger. more times then not it happens with the last two in the magazine. anyboby else experiance this? should i be worried? is it common to the conversion? i use the same complete lower for my 223 upper and it has never done that, so i dont think that it is in the trigger action. I love this .22 upper as its the only semi auto .22 rifle that i have ever been able to fire 25 rounds through as fast as i can pull the trigger with out a FTE or a FTF. too much fun.

Yeah, every now and then that happens to me too. Maybe its because the low recoil power of the 22 round doesnt push the carrier back enough to engage the hammer on the disconnector?

    I dont worry about it.

The Ceiner units are self-contained; there is no "carrier" per se. Further, they are designed to work properly with standard AR lower parts. If you're getting doubles, something's wrong. If it happens when shooting .22 but not when shooting 5.56, my guess would be a worn recoil spring in the Ceiner kit itself. You would do well to fix it ASAP.

I dont worry about it... Its never, EVER done it with 5.56 ammo and its only done it...maybe 4 or 5 times in the four years and 3000+ rounds of ammo I have put throught it.

I work at Eagle Creek range and have seen other kits do this (2 round burst) occasionally (rarely) as well.

If it did it every 100rds or so...then I'd say there is problem. Like posted above, I'd guess the recoil spring.
