christmas guns

Unfortunately, I grew up in a very anti-gun family and it remains that way today. My wife looked me straight in the eye the other day and told me not to even think of asking for anything gun related.

Ditto. My dad is into guns, but my mom gets mad at him because he buys ammo like he's going to war. So me getting a gun for christmas is out of the question.

I never got one for Christmas. But I was given my Browning Citori as my 21st birthday gift. (Best gift ever)

I was given a Mossberg 500 in .410ga. the year they became legal for deer in Indiana.

And I gave away more than a couple of Cricket rifles this year!

It is the carbine version. 16" barrel, 12 shot mag tube that finishes flush with the barrel. I will never let that gun go. It is surprisingly accurate, and when I take friends to the range that ends up being what they shoot the most. It is just so fun!

I've never got a gun for Christmas but got a 11-87 for my 21st birthday from my parents and a Remington 700 from my fiance on our anniversary.

Got a nice 12ga for Christmas when I was 16. Didn't fully appreciate what a great gift it was until later on in years.

This year I'm presenting my son with a 91/59 after he found that model to be his favorite when we all went shooting last summer.

I have never been given one, but this Christmas my fiancee is getting a 10/22. I figure if I give her one she will start getting me one.

I got my first gun for christmas, a Remington 870 Express 20 GA when I was 13. I still got it and still hunt with it every once in a while. I've killed alot of stuff with that gun.

I never received one for christmas myself, but almost got a cricket for my son this year... until my wife said 7 years is too young. So I know what he's getting for his birthday.

I never recieved a gun for christmas, but i got a beretta 92fs as a wedding present from my best man

Now that is thinking ahead lol...

Actually at Christmas?, BB guns when young, 10-22 and 20ga Mossberg pump as a teenager, and then a loooong dry spell until my wife and kids bought me a 44 mag lever gun 2 Christmas's ago. My wife of 22 yrs has many times let me go ahead and "buy the gun you've been wanting" for Christmas or birthdays. (She's a keeper)

This year I got my dad a Beretta Stampede in .357 mag. 5.5" barrel w/ blued finish. I cannot wait to see the look on his face when he opens it.

Sometimes it truly is better to give than to receive.
