Chinese State Media Demands US Citizens Be Disarmed - Breitbart

Edit....FAIL on my part.... its an article from years ago :ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh:... Dont know why it popped up on my feed.

I'm going to facepalm on all you guys. I was really puzzled by the Breitbart article, and so I actually bothered to read the article from the Chinese source. It doesn't demand the disarming of US citizens. Whoever wrote the article may have a bias, but the piece tries to be analytical. Breitbart quotes one paragraph and says it "heaps praise" on the Democratic Party. It doesn't. It just observes that a party advocating gun control will pay a heavy price. It concludes what I think is a fair assessment of American gun politics: "If Obama wants to take practical measures to control guns, he has to make preparation for a protracted war and considerable political cost."

    - Lead time on ordering replacement transformers for the entire grid is in the order of years if not decades. We don't produce them domestically.

    - By the time the grid could be brought back online, how many crops would have rotted in the fields, or people died due to lack of medicines?

Domestic production capabilities is a big part in national security.

The reason 600,000 American soldiers were able to put the hurt on 3.2 million fully dug in nazi soldiers AFTER traveling across an ocean was because we had the best production in the world. We could build equipment faster than they could build and deliver bombs. For the war effort, we retooled all the machine tools in every plant in America.

You cannot do that these days, you cannot retool manufacturing equipment that does not exist in factories that are torn down.

You can thank US government overheads and taxpayer funded international intervention for all those boarded up factories.

In a real world conflict, we would be out of supplies in 30 days and our streets would be open war zone as ammoral masses rob, rape, loot and steal feeling justified because the welfare checks did not get to them on time. Socialist "community organizers" will continue to fan the flames of discontent, And the beat goes on.........

I find the whole idea of China wanting the US to have stricter gun control ironic, considering that half of the shotguns used in the Home Defense Shotgun course I took last week were Chinese made (H&R Pardner Pumps, and an IAC Hawk). I am quite positive that if we ever lifted the ban on Norinco, those Communists would be more than happy to sell us as many AK47's, SKS's and Sig clones as we want, for rock bottom prices.:)

No worries, JollyMon, the 2012 Chinese have had a 'U.S. Representative' of this ideology since January 2009... the Liar-In-Chief.
