changing to a milspec stock

Have a commercial stock on my m4 going to a milspec. Can I use the same spring and buffer? Will a milspec tube screw right in. In short to put a milspec stock on a m4 that currently has a commercial stock all I need is the milspec tube?

Yes, the spring and buffer will work in both tubes. Thread patterns are all the same on lowers. You'll need a special wrench for the castle nut on the buffer tube. A multi purpose AR15 armorer's wrench can be had for under $20.

Don't forget to hold down your buffer retainer. It can go flying if you unscrew the buffer tube.
