    Couple thoughts:

Kinda like a modern m1 garand style concept.

    And it's kinda a sci-fi pepper box.

I'd be curious to see how well it actually performs.

Vid won’t play for me, what’s the problem? HK made a caseless rifle late 80’s early 90’s the G11, seems it was too advanced for its time though.

wait, it has a case that holds 5 rounds, and after you fire 5 rounds, it ejects the case that held 5 rounds, and when you reload it. you put in a case that holds 5 rounds, but its a caseless round?

As posted earlier the H & K G-11 was light years ahead of this weapon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heckler_&_Koch_G11 with 45 or 90 round bricks and a weight of 9.5 pounds with 90 rounds. The Germans were going to issue the G-11 type weapons to the spear chuckers and issue a G-41 to second line/reservists. Sadly the end of the Evil Empire and end of the Warsaw Pact ended funding.

I have a 1968 Daisy VL rifle that uses a caseless .22 round. It is fired by a jet of hot air from a piston into the solid propellant attached to the bullet. In 1969 ATF stopped Daisy from manufacturing the VL rifle because they belived it was firearm not an air rifle. VL ammo has not been produced for decades but it is available if you look for it. Even in 1968 the caseless ammo was very inaccurate. This is probably why old Daisy VL ammo is still available along with the short production run of the rifle.
