Also just to verify I can open carry to buy tickets at the box office correct? On account of it being a county owned building and they don't lease the front.

Have not been for a while but I imagine the choke point for searches would generally occur where they take tickets. Either at the top of the escalator or farther back at the entrances to the ground level/lower level venues.

i know this is a old thread but i was there a month ago to a mad ants game they check every one now, i had to take my knives to the office and get them after the game

FWIW, I've not been patted down or wanded on my way into a Komets game. I did have to drop my knife off for safe holding & pick it up after a concert. Not sure if it was Styx/REO Speedwagon or one of the Trans Siberian Orchestra shows.

it was the scout night, i had my 2 boys and a lot of other friends in scouting. i asked about it and they said they use to do it 2 times a week and now they do it at all the major events.

At the Komet playoff game last night they had a chute of tables and were doing a bag/purse check. Pretty cursory check feeling for large objects rather than digging inside searching for a gun. I am thinking it may have been in anticipation of Donald Trump's appearance the next day.

Carried on my belt all night as usual.

$10 for 20 ounces of "cheap" beer.
