I was there last weekend, CC'd my G26. I looked at the doors and the ticket buying area, I didn't see any anti-2A signage.

I know it's a matter of opinion, but I try very hard NOT give my hard-earned money to a business that does not respect my 2A rights. I will not be going to Carmike's Theater or any other theater that does not allow carry.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but you'd be hard pressed to find any movie theater that encourages or permits you to carry in their theater after that nutjob shot up the Dark Knight showing.

All AMC are NO GUNS allowed. "allowed"

I would never go to a movie theater without carrying.

The theater at Metropolis, er, Perry Crossing, is the closest/most convenient/nicest one.

    Concealed means concealed.

No bubble to burst, you are sadly correct and I know it :(

I will say, that at the drive-in that my GF and I went to a few times over the summer...I didn't check their policy :dunno:

I don't get why people get bent out of shape at places like Denny's then. No gun signs up no different than the movies or the mall.

Personally? In Indiana, I don't get bent out of shape. I choose either to patronize the establishment or not, and carry on either way. But at some point, in the risk assessment, the risk does become non-trivial. A movie theater is far more likely to be a target than a Denny's, and the severity (ingress/egress/cover) is greater in a movie theater, as well.
