it is not official but i had it scaned somewhere i think it was target for a return and that was just so they didn't have to type the dln and name in manualySo, does anyone have an official list, and source, for what info is stored on the card?
And, if it is stored electronically, might it be "wiped" with a magnet?

While I haven't found the official word on what info the card contains, I did find this gem about Target's scanning of DLs: Routing by Rumor
Interestingly, the link to the website of the "American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators", including a document that describes the "22 mandatory and 23 optional data elements" included on an American DL, but that link leads to a corrupt file. (go figure)
That pissed me off, so I'm going to keep looking and will follow up once (if) I make any progress.
Did they scan the back of it?
You have been recorded!!!
I will not give my DL or phone # to cashiers anymore, had one tell me she didn't know how to finish the transaction without a phone at Bass Pro so I gave her 666-6666.
My information is not for sale.
I will allow them to see it for id purposes but it never leaves my person and I will not allow any information to be recorded.
Welcome to 1984!
