Indianpolis west side area. From what I'm told it's the only one that looks like this. With the wheels and all. I'd assume it's being parted. It's a shot in the dark, but I'm taking the shot anyway.

I thought they all caught on fire at some point until I saw a blue one the other day. Although it was friends with duct tape

Sorry for his loss, but no disrespect to your friend, it's a 24-28 year old car that went up in flames as easy as a Pinto and was part of the 80's failure tour for GM.

He can do way better with a replacement vehicle even if he considered this the car of his lifetime.

He bought it because he liked the car. He knows enough about cars to not be falsely led to think the car is something it isn't. May not be something you liked, but it's something he likes. And if you'd read the whole thread, you'd have seen the car was found.

To answer an earlier question, it was found about 20 miles from where it was stolen. Not sure the exact location.

You guys have obviously never driven a Fiero. I had one and it was a lot of fun sliding sideways and doing donuts even if it was slow. It also helped that I got it for $600 and the guy who T-boned me's insurance got to give me $3600 for it.
