    EDIT:
Upon further examination it looks to be more of a stem of some kind and not a rodent. Maybe I messed up and jumped to conclusions, but you can never be too careful.

You won't see this in the news... YET.

DO NOT BUY HAPPY HARVEST GREEN BEANS OR OTHER CANNED GOODS!!!!!

We opened three cans of green beans and what looked like a HALF COOKED RODENT fell out!!!! We have pictures, but my mom has the camera taking it to show my father. I will post them later.

Again, DO NOT BUY HAPPY HARVEST canned goods! These were bought at the ALDI's in Plainfield and the numbers/best by date are "Jan. 2011" and <MI00 49CT>

I would hate for anyone to get sick!!!

    THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!!!

    Uh, no thanks. :n00b:

Sorry, but I want people to know it's not some joke or scam.

We will be sending the same photos to the company and demanding compensation. Along with that, the photos will be going to the BBB and the FDA so appropriate actions can be taken. With all the salmonila scares and bad sanatation practices being discovered I feel it's my duty to report this to every agency this might affect.

Even the local news channels. :D

The wife says they are probably made in China. In the USA we love pork & beans, in China it's rat & beans....

I smell a lawsuit! Claim something and get rich quick--the American way! Haha.

If only we were those kind of people, huh? :): I very well could, but instead I think I will try to either get them to clean up their company or destroy their reputation. This is just NOT right. It even says on their can "Double Quality Checked".... My Ass!

Alright, here's the photos. Hope you haven't ate or are eating!!!

looks like a grasshopper in the pics.

Oh yeah and stop using metal utensils in your teflon cookware, it cause the teflon to flake off and that stuff is toxic as hell.

Yea... did you poke it to make sure it was actually a rodent? Maybe it's some kind of veggie junk that got mixed in.

You should save it, whatever it is do NOT throw it away. Put it in the freezer in a bag. It is exhibit 1. Without it, your case is essentially not a case. Just some pictures.

I'm telling you the Chinese probably just meant to season those beans with their version of bacon, smoked rat meat.
