    I don't feel obliged. I genuinely sympathize with a small amount of them, if I'm in a good mood or feeling especially altruistic I'll give 'em one of those excuses. If I'm havin a bad day or it's the same guy that's always "out of gas on his temporary visit from Chitago" then they're lucky to even get a NO. lol

    Sounds pretty crazy. I don't think cell phones are worth stealing though. She might of really been scared and needed help...or crazy

    Smart phones are going for $300 and up. Plus all the personal information on most of them. There are apps for banks, mortgages etc. A phone in the wrong hands can be very costly.

    ok that's a joke....but like everyone said it sounds really suspect. I would not be giving my phone to anyone....if she truly looks in danger i would be more that happy to call the police for her.
