    Awesome.

    Sometimes you're the windshield
    sometimes you're the bug
    Sometimes you're the Louisville Slugger
and sometimes you're the ball ...
    Sometimes you're the Peregrine falcon
    sometimes you're the duck

    I'm not sure I like your tone.

Anybody noticed that there seems to be a lot more birds of prey sitting around in trees, compared to years ago? I have a lot of windshield time with my job sometimes, between Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and NY. I see a lot of Hawks and other birds of prey, and it seems like I see a lot more than when I was a kid.

I know that during the 90's in southern Indiana there were lots of redtails and peregrines released and specifically downtown Evansville to keep the pigeons under control. They have thrived since then.

I knew something "had happened" to cause the increase in my own sightings. I figured it was the result of federal protections allowing the various bird populationsto thrive or something. And it still could be that partially.
