That was an interesting article. The whole part of gun control being linked to racism is an angle that I had not heard before. Thanks for sharing SavageEagle.

What is at stake, in future rulings on the 2nd Amendment, is whether a fundamental right, protected by the Constitution, against governmental infringement, can be ripped apart piecemeal.

The courts, have time and time, again ruled in favor of a right over the infringements of government. Only illegal use of a right, those uses which infringe on the equal rights of another, can be disalowed in our courts. The illegal use of a firearm, murder, robbery, home invasion, and etc. are already covered in our nation's laws. No other laws on firearms are needed nor are they warranted by the clear language of the Constitution.

"No man has a natural right to commit aggression on the equal rights of another, and this is all from which the laws ought to restrain him." — Thomas Jefferson

"The provision in the Constitution granting the right to all persons to bear arms is a limitation upon the power of the Legislature to enact any law to the contrary. The exercise of a right guaranteed by the Constitution cannot be made subject to the will of the sheriff." [People vs. Zerillo, 219 Mich. 635, 189 N.W. 927, at 928 (1922)]

"A state may not impose a charge for the enjoyment of a right granted by the federal constitution... The power to impose a license tax on the exercise of these freedoms is indeed as potent as the power of censorship which this Court has repeatedly struck down... a person cannot be compelled 'to purchase, through a license fee or a license tax, the privilege freely granted by the constitution.'" —MURDOCK V. PENNSYLVANIA 319 US 105 (1942)

"Our safety, our liberty depends on preserving the Constitution of the United States as our fathers made it inviolate. The people of the U.S. are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts - Not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow men who pervert the Constitution." — Abraham Lincoln

And gun control is always racist, no matter what others may tell you. For gun control is some in our society denying this right to others. Today, the politics and the elites, use it as a tool to keep weapons out of the hands of the lower classes. At the same time, the politicos and elites, are allowed to personally exercise that right, or are protected by armed guards.

Gun control, in this country, mainly began with prohibitions against slaves, both before and after the War Between the States. But all gun control laws, historically, can be linked to one group, denying that right to another group or groups. Often immigrants, were denied the right to bear arms, so they could be more easily controlled by the ruling party in politics.

And fees of one kind or another and training requirements today, in states which have otherwise very lenient gun control laws, deny the right to those who cannot afford the fees or time, which are the lower classes. Case in point, is the weapons ban in San Francisco's Housing Authority. And another, which is type of weapon restriction, is the prohibition against so called "Saturday Night Specials," weapons affordable by the lowest classes in our society.

These were originally called, "Ni**ertown Saturday Night Specials", BTW.

Just another nail in the coffin of racist laws.

This post has to be one the best I have ever seen in the many places I've seen on the internet to date. It completely tells it how it is and says things you won't hear in any public broadcast, TV or most of Radio. Listening to 93.1 and 95.9 (Indy) is an eye opener from regular radio. I listened to some of these guys on AM, but not very many people listen to AM anymore.

Your right Santee. The government can't do this to us, local, state, and federal, but they do it and we let them. No one wants to be a test trial, but someone has to be or "they" will find someone to be and you can guarantee it won't be favorable to the masses. Everyone I talk to just shugs this stuff off and honestly believe's they can't do anything about it. No matter how much money the "elites" have, it'll never be be enough to overpower a majority of the citizens. People in this Country have forgotten "By The People, For The People" and I don't intend to watch this freak show any longer.
