About to be in the market for a Supressor, anyone have a manufacturer they love/hate? The silencerco omega looks pretty wicked and I don't know of a Supressor that has a lower dB rating.

You'll spend hours/days/months trying to come up with "the best". In short, there is no best. The Omega is a good can, I'm waiting on approval for one myself. It really boils down to what you're looking for?

Is this your first rifle can?

Do you plan to buy only one?

What calibers are you looking to suppress?

What's priority to you? Length, suppression, ruggedness? Or a compromise of them all

These are all things to consider before purchasing. While I don't regret any of my cans, now that I'm 4 into it, I definitely would have done it different than I did.

Based on your other thread, I'd probably look hard at that M4e1-sd upper. If you consider the cost of the omega, it's a pretty cheap upper. Aero Precision makes some nice stuff in my book. I've built a few rifles with their parts and have been pleased.
