Been looking at a bushmaster moe mid- length carbine, just wanting some input, good , bad, okay?? was looking at the colt m4 moe also.. Thanks.

Of those 2, pick the Colt.

I'd seriously look at some others besides the Bushmaster. They've been getting something of a bad rep since they were bought out by the Freedom Group.

S&W M&P MOEs can be had all day long for under $1000 on GB.

Neither of those are the MOE Mid (from the "Magpul Spec Series"), which is the gun the OP was asking about.

From what I have heard, I would avoid the newer Bushmasters. After the take over, I have heard they are not as good of quality. Colt is usually a great name to go with. As pointed out the S&W M&P 15s are great quality as well. I know they are making a ton of different models, so one of them is bound to be the one you want. Good luck

Despite what the description says, that's not a Mid, either. SKU #811021 is just the regular M&P-15 MOE in Flat Dark Earth (#811020 is the same gun in black). It is still a current production model and is in the distribution chain.

Yep, it didn't look like a Middy to me either:dunno: Sometimes GB is good and sometimes not.

rather than a bushmaster, why not look at windham weaponry, they are made at the old bushmaster plant, on bushmaster equipment, by bushmaster employee's and have a lifetime warrenty (the last add i saw said they would replace the bbl after its shot out) plus the last time we had one for sale, it was in our shop marked up and cost less than dealer cost of the same thing from bushmaster
dont know for sure if they make a mid length or not, but might be worth looking at
