The business pays taxes, and I pay taxes on the "salary" I sometimes draw as well. Not to mention taxes on any "cash disbursements" that may come along. Maybe my accountant needs to be better?

You need a new accountant. If you aren't paying yourself that's your fault.

Nobody wants to listen to your rational argument - all they want is a good sound bite.

The majority of this place think that horse and sparrow is a legitimate economic structure upon which to build a society. Any issue regarding science, education, or economics is going to shouted down by mises.org, X-archist, conspiracy theorist talking points. Understanding is hard. Eating from a spoon is easy. Just visit for the laughs. Take a drink every time someone redefines socialism to mean something the Kenyan Interloper does.

Are you suggesting building a society is the ultimate intention?

Of course he is. That's the fundemental difference between collectivist and individualists. They're off trying to engineer and build some grand pie-in-the-sky utopia while everyone else is just trying to build the life they want. We're like, "leave us the **** alone." And they're like, "NO! We can build your life for you better than you can."

No thank, Utopias are incompatible with human nature, ****youverymuch.

The "mises.org" argument would suggest that given the current tax situation, the move to Canada would be the outcome and the solution to stop it should be to get rid of the onerous tax structure.

Listening to Smerconish this morning. He had an informal online poll where 72% said that the government and excessive taxes are to blame for corporate inversion rather than the companies being unpatriotic / greedy. His audience tends to be center-left. For example, in today's poll, should public employees have collective bargaining rights, so far it's 62% in favor. So I'm astonished that so many center-lefties got the "corporate inversion" thing right.

I do agree with the savings that move can provide. BUT the price of there food will not go down one bit!!!!!!!!!

That's be like saying an employee who pays off his mortgage should take a pay cut because he no longer needs as much to pay his bills.
