It’s been years since I’ve participated in a bullseye event, but while I’ve been looking at adding whatever shooting gear I can especially when I find it cheap I always do. So this week while I was browsing a local auction an older Pachmayr Bullseye Box came up and I ended up becoming the owner of it for $11, now let me tell you it was rough on the interior. You can see in the pictures that it’s definitely seen it’s use. So a little bit of work, some felt, and some time I decided this was going to be my newest project to refinish. After a night and some cutting I think it almost looks as good as new, minus the scope it will need eventually. I decided for now it will look really good with my period correct smiths inside of it.
