well then it would have to work with a "popped" collar too right ?
I hate it when things like that are talked about by people who are clearly non-gun owners.

So it'll stop 9mm, and ammunition made by S&W....are we to assume that Winchester ammo goes right through it as long as its in calibers other than 9mm?

That brings up a good guideline. The only way you can justify a popped collar is if it's a bulletproof collar.
Well, you've got to admit, there ARE a lot of 9mm's out there, so I suppose that the odds of being shot by a 9mm are probably slightly better than other calibers.
