[No Lot Lizards]

Apparently, BWW is a 21+ establishment now.

Me and a friend went there today and were gonna meet another friend and his girlfriend, who is 20. The hostess immediately ID'd the two of us which I thought was strange.

I told her we didnt want to sit at the bar, but wanted to sit on the restaurant side because one of the people in our group wasnt 21. She said if shes not 21 she cant be here in the first place.

I asked her what she meant, and she told me you have to be 21 to enter the restaurant. I asked her when this started and she said it has always been that way.

Does anyone know about this? Any BWW employees on here? I swear it seems like Ive seen kids at BWW.

I have taken my 9month old son to BWW a few times up in FW.

I went to one in/near Indy a few years back when I was down there doing OTJ training for my last job and it was 21+

The only other two I've been to (Schererville and Bourbonnais, IL) are not.

They are also not 2-A friendly.

The BW's in Bloomington allows <21 unless that has changed recently.

I dont go there much at all but I really think the hostess was confused. Probably shoilda asked for a manager.

Their hot bbq wings are amazing.

Ive seen kids at the one in Clarksville, unless it has changed. But they are not 2A friendly so I do not go there anymore.

Nope, only about 6:30 pm

The downtown Indy location is, and has been for a few years, 21 and up only.

About two months ago I was there and specifically remember a hispanic family with 2 kids being in the area that is completely separated from the bar because one of the kids kept running laps around the table.

Was it after 9pm? Broad ripple one became over 21 after 9 in the past. It's not during the day

Actually, you just reminded me that in my last post I said we were downtown but we were in Broad Ripple. That night was kind of a blur.

At which BWW were you carded? If the night was "kind of a blur" and you approached the hostess and admitted that one of your party was under 21, perhaps they made a judgement not to let you enter for being "blurry"? Just a thought.

The night that was a blur was 2 months ago on the other side of town.
