    I think you went a little overboard in treatment....I would have slapped a band-aid on it and kept shooting. Have done it before in the past..pistol slides don't have enough mass ...

    Yeah! I would have rubbed some dirt in it (unless there was some salt available) and let the slide hit it again to teach my digit a lesson.

    had to correct a buddy about this issues today. i was watching him and the slide was just clearing his thumb. i could also see he was putting pressure on his right hand with the left thumb. no wonder he couldn't hit squat. he started to shoot better almost immediately after i corrected that. yeah me!!!
