He was talking about the optics on the LR rifle. They could clearly identify humans up to 1300m and vehicles to 3000m. The shotgun that they showed didn't even have a scope.

Edit: Yup, re-listened and they got it wrong.

Chicken Curry? yewh. Of course, the Brits don't have looezeana hot sauce...

I'm interested how they will carry a combat load of 12 gauge ammo on those long walks.

Rifle looks good to go, for sure.

    Silly!!!
They'll use Porters like they did on Safari in Africa.

Anyway, a big :yesway: for the new rifle. I'm glad to see them unload the Bullpup.
Now if they make a bayonet charge like they did last year in Afghanistan they won't have to get as close to the Enemy to "make their point"

Pudly, no, the newsman got it wrong. No big deal, we know he was wrong.

This 'tis simply utter rubbish, old boy! Everyone knows that if a reporter says something it simply MUST be true, even more so if it is said with a British accent, because reporters ALWAYS check their facts, write completely unbiased stories, and are EXPERTS in firearms! Without the diligent work of reporters, how would I have ever know about the .9MM caliber, silenced revolvers, and the metal-detector proof Glock terror pistol???

    ;) :D

It's a well-known fact that the British have excellent taste.:D

    And don' forget the excellent...

    ...as well!! :D :D :D

I am surprised they let the reporter fire the shotgun. It simply won't do to be promoting "gun-culture" (sic) among the subjects, now will it?
