Huh... so they are moving away completely from the Hi Power (which I am sure are beginning to age, frame crack and other issues I've heard of with very high round count guns, not your average shooter situation) to the G17. Wonder what they are going to do with all their Sig 226s? (numbered with some L-blah blah blah number lol)

A couple questions for the British military. What is the point of the cord besides the obvious? It takes 4 seconds to fire a target with a Browning and 2 seconds for a Glock?

So, is it standard practice for a British Marine to not have his gun already loaded. It seems like there's a lot of procedures in just showing the Glock and how it is better...

    Um.............The obvious.

At the beginning of the video he was facing the press for a photo shoot. Obviously the weapon had to be clear and safe. After that he turned downrange for a live fire demonstration which would have necessitated the need to load. On OPs the weapon would be loaded and chambered.

Someone should let him know that handgun is shooting low left. Or he is buggering up his trigger pull since UK folk aren't allowed to have handguns.

It's possible those shots were deliberate. Majority of Military personel in modern Armies are wearing body armor of some sort to protect center mass. Next best large mass area is the lower region. Low hits in these areas produce good blood loss with the added bonus of hits to the femoral artery.
