    They say the way one usually gets this is by diving in shallow water and hitting the bottom with your face. The amoeba lives in the muck and goes up through the sinus cavities.

    Aw man, thats my favorite part.

    Likely, but multiple vectors in the form of liberal politics have also brought it from Northeast and Western coastal regions of the U.S.

    All the cases I've heard of this year were swimmers who snorted water up their nose. Didn't see anything about snorting bottom mud up their nose.

    And yeah, even using tap water in a Neti pot can kill you. There was a case of that in the UK this year.
