You have old bicycle pugil stick jousting injuries?

Would that warrant it's own thread, or care to share here? :D
No bikes or pugil sticks involved but........

I once put a hole in the back of my leg to the bone. The best way to describe it would be more of an impact wound, crushing flesh all the way to the bone. No clean cuts, a lot of ragged edge stuff, BIG hole. Only reason it didn't go through my leg was the bone stopped it.

48 hours later when I finally walked into the ER, Doctor #1 said to Doctor #2 my leg was broken. Dr. #2 said "But he just walked in on his own." Dr #1 then bet a Quarter my leg was broken. Dr #1 was full of crap because I had just spent the last 48 hours walking on it!

My leg was not even cracked, which honestly even surprised me since by now the Dr.'s had me convinced it might be broken. Dr #2 ended that day .25 cents richer.

    There I shared.

I could share what came to be known as the "Immaculate snowmobile turn" but no one got hurt, not even a minor case of frostbite so it is not that interesting in a fourm like this. When my Dad found me and realized I was not dead, he decked me.
