    I have actually held both the .22cal and the .17 hmr in my hands
    Only got to fire the 22

    The .17 HMR round is my favorite rim fire. I have several .22's and they are all OK and fun enough but the .17 rocks. Taurus tracker 7 shot 8" barrel in .17 and a Savage bolt bull barrel. Both accurate and deadly to ground hogs and such. The Savage has a Coyote on it with a friend on the trigger at 125 yds. Love to have a full auto version.

    If you fire either my pistol or rifle without ears on it will hurt severely. No real "Kick" but the ballistics are fairly flat and very fast. The Coyote my buddy shot went down fairly quick with scrambled guts. I like them and I have some hard hitting pieces that are "Manly"
